Captain Frank
Frank is the captain and owner of La Dolce Vita. He’s an experienced sailor and he has participated in hundreds of regattas in the Mediterranean and on our beautiful Como Lake.
He knows every little cove and fishing village along our beloved “branch of Como” very well.
Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a passionate enthusiast, Frank will share tales of the “Breva” and “Tivano,” the two powerful and regular winds that blow in the northern part of Como Lake.
Frank will regale you with entertaining and fascinating anecdotes about the magnificent historic villas that grace the shores of Como Lake.
Fluent in English and with a touch of French, Frank will entertain you with his friendly and outgoing personality.

Captain FABRIZIO
Fabrizio has cultivated a distinguished career in engineering, sales, and marketing within prominent multinational technology companies.
Throughout his professional journey, he has consistently intertwined his expertise with a profound passion for the aquatic environment.
During the summer months, he serves as a Captain and guide, operating a variety of boats, including sailing vessels, shuttles, and taxi boats, across diverse locations worldwide, such as the Mediterranean, California, and Indonesia.
Fluent in English, Fabrizio possesses a deep appreciation for the breathtaking beauty of our magnificent lake. He is intimately familiar with its hidden gems and charming spots along the
shoreline, relishing the opportunity to share these treasures with his guests.
Captain Filippo
Filippo is 24 years old, with an open and approachable personality, likely influenced by the sunny Valtellina, the region north of Lake Como where he was born! He enjoys tackling challenges and finding solutions, whether he’s sailing, climbing, or working on a study project. He graduated with a high school diploma in Human Sciences. Since childhood, he’s been immersed in the world of sailing on the northern shores of Lake Como, where he spent plenty of time with his family on the waters of their beloved lake. Fluent in English Filippo will tell you incredible stories about our beloved lake, keeping you entertained during your boat ride. He loves traveling, meeting new people, and, most of all, following the right wind!
