Frank is the captain and owner of La Dolce Vita. He’s an experienced sailor and he has participated in hundreds of regattas in the Mediterranean and on our beautiful Como Lake.
He knows every little cove and fishing village along our beloved “branch of Como” very well.
Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a passionate enthusiast, Frank will share tales of the “Breva” and “Tivano,” the two powerful and regular winds that blow in the northern part of Como Lake.
Frank will regale you with entertaining and fascinating anecdotes about the magnificent historic villas that grace the shores of Como Lake.
Fluent in English and with a touch of French, Frank will entertain you with his friendly and outgoing personality.

Captain Flavio
Flavio is 34 years old and lives near Lake Como. Since childhood, he has explored and experienced many of the breathtaking landscapes that our beloved lake has to offer. A great enthusiast of boating especially sailing he is also highly knowledgeable about everything related to the world of engines and motors. A true sports lover, Flavio has practiced ski mountaineering and rock climbing on the stunning mountains surrounding the lake. In everyday life, he loves singing, playing the guitar, and, above all, spending time with others.
Fluent in English, Flavio will make sure you enjoy truly unforgettable moments on board with him!
Captain Fulvio
Fulvio is 50 years old, yet forever young at heart, still full of enthusiasm for all the beautiful things life has to offer. Originally from the Marche region, he ran his family’s bakery business for many years, achieving significant professional milestones.
However, he says his greatest fulfilment came from helping the less fortunate, those in need, and the “young at heart” residents of care homes, where sometimes a smile or a gentle touch can truly make a difference. He eventually left his professional career to dedicate himself to sailing, spending several seasons in the central Adriatic.
With passion and commitment, he guided guests from all over Europe in discovering the stunning beauty of the Conero coast. Today, Fulvio is a proud member of the LA DOLCE VITA team, and we are certain he will win everyone over with his warmth, charisma, and genuine love for life.
Captain Fabio
Fabio is a 22-year-old captain with experience in the world of classic boats and historic Riva yachts, where elegance and nautical heritage have long gone hand in hand.
After years immersed in this refined environment, he chose to dedicate himself to welcoming guests who wish to experience Lake Como in an exclusive and authentic way. Fluent in English, Fabio guides his guests through the lake’s historic villas, its most iconic landscapes, and those hidden perspectives that can truly be appreciated only from the water.
Professional, warm, and attentive, he enjoys making guests feel at ease on board, creating the perfect atmosphere to experience the charm and pleasure of the true Italian Dolce Vita on Lake Como.
